§01Podcast studio

A podcast studio
already plugged in.

Podcast gear is expensive, takes up room and costs you an hour of setup every shoot. Here it’s rigged, dialled in and waiting for you. Book two hours, record your episode, head home.

Podcast studio, Ferme de Willambroux
§02What’s already set up

A RØDECaster Pro, not an interface to configure

The podcast console is wired and dialled in. Boom-mounted mics, headphones, levels: you walk in, you sit down, you record. Nobody loses the first half hour to settings.

The cut happens on the shoot

A Blackmagic ATEM Mini Pro switcher lets you cut between cameras while recording, and push a live stream out. The cut happens live, not three evenings later. And if you want a proper edit on top, it’s still available as an add-on.

The lighting is already rigged

Continuous LED lighting and softboxes, set up for a seated format. No lights to build, no colour temperature to match between two sources.

A video return while you shoot

Monitoring screen, interview table and chairs in place. You see what you’re recording as you record it, so you never discover a botched frame at the review stage.

§07Frequently asked questions

Do I need to bring equipment?

Sound, lighting, the switcher, the table and the chairs are on site and included in the rental. Cameras are a paid add-on: three Sony bodies, a6400 and a7 III, from €60 per body, which plug into the switcher. You can also bring your own — they connect the same way.

How much time should I allow for one episode?

Two hours fits one episode best: time to settle in, set levels, record and pack up. One hour is enough for a short segment if you already know the place. To record several episodes with different guests back to back, take three hours or a half day.

How many people can sit around the table?

Five at most, with a professional mic for each speaker. The most common format is still host and guest, but the table and the desk handle five voices. If you’re bringing a technical crew on top of that, mention it when booking so we can prepare the space accordingly.

Can we stream live?

The ATEM Mini Pro switcher can push a live stream to a streaming platform. Let us know when you book: the connection gets prepared before you arrive, not while you wait.

Is the studio far from Brussels?

The studio is in Nivelles, in Walloon Brabant, about thirty minutes from Brussels via the E19. You unload your gear at the door, in the courtyard of the Ferme de Willambroux, with no blue zone and no parking meter.

How does booking work?

Everything happens online: you pick the space, the duration and your slot, and pay by card or Bancontact. If you’d rather ask questions or visit first, you can request a slot through the booking flow without paying anything.

Will your format fit this studio?

Fifteen minutes on the phone to go over how many people you need, what gear it takes and what you want out of it. No strings.
